  21.   I definitely agree here.  I've seen a number of posts in the recent past
  22. stating that "Windows 95 is the OS of the future and EVERYONE will use it,"
  23. and my reaction, when I bother to reply, is always to laugh in the poster's
  24. face.  Even ignoring the fact that Win95 was never intended as a permanent
  25. OS, there are plenty of reasons for using other computers.  I, personally,
  26. have found no reason in five and a third years to switch from the Amiga to
  27. the PC, and I doubt that will change - even if the Amiga ceases development
  28. - because it's so much easier for me to get things done on the Amiga than
  29. on a PC.  (Although I do, in fact, have a PC running Linux which is the
  30. dragonfire.net web and FTP server.)
  31.  
  32.   The same is true of AMOS and Blitz.  While AMOS's lack of development
  33. certainly hurts its ability to keep up with new features of the system, and
  34. while Blitz may eventually outshine it in many areas, that in no way
  35. implies that "everyone will use it".  As with OS's, there are always
  36. reasons to choose one software package over another, even if the other is
  37. generally regarded as "better".  It's all a matter of which you prefer.
